Al Furjan and Discovery Gardens Metro: the route from home

RTA's map includes Al Furjan and Discovery Gardens stations. When choosing a home in Al Furjan, check both routes: the nearest district name does not determine the most convenient metro entrance.

Two stations to investigate

Find Al Furjan and Discovery Gardens on RTA's official map. Then plan separately from the chosen building to each station. Compare actual street routes rather than straight-line distances between markers.

If the building has several exits, confirm which residents can use and at what times. A station in the district does not itself establish convenient walking access from every complex.

The whole commute to work or study

Enter your final address and required arrival time in RTA's planner. Compare walking to the station with being dropped off or using public transport for the first section.

Check the return trip separately, especially after evening classes. For travel with children, assess crossings, lifts and shaded waiting areas.

Using this at a viewing

Ask to see the building exit towards your chosen station. Walk the route and check lighting, crossings and sections alongside roads. For an unfinished project, establish which passages already exist.
